Pre-qualified clients will receive an email notification containing the registration code and directions on how to register and claim the AXA Protect Package.
To pre-qualify for the promotion, client must:
a. Be 18 to 70 years old
b. Provide a valid email address
c. Sign the Data Consent Form (DCF) upon account opening
d. Register through AXA’s registration page until February 28, 2023 using the unique registration code provided in the eDM sent by Metrobank. Client must also accept AXA’s terms and conditions specified therein. To avail your package and register, click here.
Successfully registered clients will receive another email from AXA with the details of their AXA Protect Package Insurance Coverage. This will serve as the confirmation of the validity of their coverage.
The insurance coverage and benefits shall immediately take effect 12:00 NN of the following day the qualified client successfully completed/submitted the questionnaire and consent form. The coverage shall be valid for one (1) year from the date of successful registration.
Promo period is from May 16 (Monday) to December 31, 2022 (Saturday).
The Promotion is applicable to retail customers (aged 18 to 70 years old) that will open a qualified Savings/Checking account with Metrobank during the promo period.
Client will be required to provide an email address to receive the registration instructions, his/her Insurance Coverage confirmation, and Insurance Policy once qualified.
Email address used to register in AXA’s registration page must be the same email address used to open an MBTC account. Else, client will not be able to claim their benefit.
Non-provision of email address by the client disqualifies him/ her from the promo.
Client must also agree to Metrobank’s Data Consent Form to be pre-qualified for the promo.
The pre-qualified client shall receive through their email address, an email with his/her unique code to be used to register for the promo. Client must answer all required information in the AXA registration form and agree to the terms and conditions specified therein before submitting the form. Once successfully registered, client will receive a confirmation email of their Insurance Coverage from AXA on the same day of successful registration.
Client is qualified to receive one AXA Protect Package for each new account opened during the promo period. However, a client may only be eligible for a maximum of two (2) insurance coverage under his/her name .
Joint (and/or) and In-Trust-For (ITF) Account holders may receive one AXA Protect Package only. Only the primary account holder will be qualified for the promotion.
AXA Protect Package is non-convertible to cash and non-transferrable.
AXA Protect Package is not for sale. Should a client wish to have more than one coverage, she/he is encouraged to open another account to qualify.
To claim the benefit, client must meet the requirements below, otherwise, insurance coverage will be deemed invalid:
a. Savings/Checking account opened during the promo period must be open and active
b. Qualified account must have an Average Daily Balance (ADB) of at least PHP 2,000 from date of account opening at the time of Insurance Claim
c. Email address used to register in AXA’s form must be the same as the email used to open a MBTC account
d. Must be aged 18 to 70 years old at the time of claiming the benefit
Savings and Checking accounts in connection with this promo are subject to the Deposit Terms and Conditions governing the issuance of MBTC’s Deposit Products.
In case of dispute arising from the promo, MBTC’s decision, in agreement with AXA, shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the client’s eligibility for the promo shall be resolved by MBTC, in concurrence with DTI. All questions regarding the insurance product and claiming process (See Annex C), on the other hand, will be resolved by AXA.
